However, if we consider the cost of a cab, it is almost always cheaper than a transfer. But in practice: If your plane is delayed, cab idle time must be paid immediately. In the meantime, the transfer company often offers free waiting time; Cabs are mostly charged based on distance, while transfers within the city limits are charged at a fixed rate. So when traveling to nearby districts – calling a cab will be a cheaper option, but when traveling across the city, a transfer is more profitable.
